Where is your realm? How large is your sphere of influence?
As a woman of God you do influence others; the question is, what will you do with that influence?
“Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.” 1 Timothy 6:18, 19
Sweet mother in the home who wants to quiet your out-of-control children; will you placate them by giving them what they want or take the time and energy to discipline them, pray with them and teach them to do what is right?
Precious single woman who is tired from a day of work and longs for a husband and a home of your own; will you use your free time for yourself or serve others even when you feel that you deserve a break?
I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve. Albert Schweitzer
Dear older woman with time on your hands; will you fill your time with friends and vacations or sacrifice your time to teach and help younger women?
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior; not malicious gossips, nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonored.” Titus 2:3-5
